This update summarizes items recently shared at the September 17, 2026, APPC meeting, including key FAMIS support activities, system updates and upcoming changes affecting processing and user support.
Year-End Processing: Success!
FAMIS Services thanks all those involved for supporting this year’s changes to the year-end processing schedule. We appreciate everyone’s flexibility and help in making this process a success!
FAMIS
- Payroll and PCTs: Due to the way payroll posting dates align in October, we need to move the PCT lockout period back by a few days. PCTs will still be created and approved but will not be posted until November.
- FAMIS Transaction Portal: Larger files were using significant system resources, causing some files to time out and, in some cases, creating duplicate postings. We reviewed the issue, notified users about affected batches, and are working to extend the processing timeout so larger files do not affect other file processing.
FAMISweb
- Browser Note: Using Firefox? You may notice slower performance on some FAMISweb pages with large data grids. If so, try Chrome or Edge for a smoother experience.
- Release 1.11: Launched August 28, 2026, FAMISweb Release 1.11 focused on several improvements to existing pages, including:
- Asset management improvements such as Asset batch search, Asset transactions by batch, Asset component transactions, and creating a TDP from Asset overview.
- Clearer messages and improved guidance for Customer create and edit options
- Clearer validation messaging and improved selection tools for SL-SA account attributes
- Asset, TDP and Voucher search refinements for clearer, more consistent results
- Release 1.12: Available Friday, October 9, 2026, this release will feature work that resumed after TEEX onboarding and year-end processing. As we rush to the end of the calendar year, the development teams are working to complete important areas such as:
- Asset management
- Vendor management
- Account attributes, including editing, cloning, flags, notes and related updates
- Budget management functionality and related pages
