Workday Curriculum
Workday curriculum guides provide A&M System employees with Workday security roles guidance on available training materials. Additional information, including the suggested completion order, the target audience, and type of training is also provided. Guides are updated when new training materials become available or outdated materials are archived.
Our curriculum includes online courses available on TrainTraq, webinar recordings, video help and reference guides. Webinars are often archived and developed into online courses. Each guide below targets a specific Workday functional area and links to materials.
Curriculum Guides
Workday Fundamentals – this curriculum covers Workday Topics that are applicable regardless of the functional area of Workday you support. Examples include navigation of the Workday application, delegations, core Workday concepts and more.
Benefits – this curriculum targets information specific to Benefit partners. Hiring, Onboarding, Changing Jobs, Termination and other processes that can impact Employee and Retiree benefits are discussed.
Payroll – this curriculum provides foundational Workday knowledge specific to Employee pay and the various tasks that Payroll Partners may complete in Workday.
Performance – this curriculum focuses on the performance evaluation period, manager and employee evaluations as well as managing goals.
Recruiting – this curriculum provides a foundational course for both Recruiting Partners and Coordinators. The job application process is discussed in detail and additional resources are available on creation questionnaires and knock out questions.
Staffing – this curriculum provides a robust set of online courses for HR Partners and HR Contacts. Information on the essential staffing business processes such as Hire, Change Job, Onboarding and Termination is provided. Additional video help is also included for added demonstrations and context.
Time & Absence – this curriculum covers both Time and Absence functionality in Workday. This is because many Absence Partners are also Timekeepers. The content included will identify the security role that is targeted for ease of use.
