This video will be available the week prior to the release going into production.
The following changes went into production on March 9. Watch this short video on Workday Release items for this Spring!
User Experience
Announcements will now be displayed at the top right of the Workday Home page improving visibility of important information for which Employees may need to take action.
Payroll
A new Prior Period Tax Adjustment Calculator task provides the ability to view the adjusted worker’s wages and taxes for a completed payroll result when a worker retroactively moves to a different primary home state or work state during the payroll period. This task can be accessed by Payroll Partners from the related actions menu of a worker’s completed payroll result.
Retro Tax Authority Change will no longer be an unsupported Payroll Retro Transaction Type. This will prevent retro tax authority changes from causing unsupported retro events.
Recruiting
The existing Career app will be replaced by a new Jobs Hub app available from the Employee’s Workday menu. This new app includes the Find Jobs report, a link to the Employee’s Skills and Experience profile page and provides access to their job applications.
Benefits
A new Benefits and Pay app will automatically replace the existing Benefits app on the Employee’s Workday menu. This new app combines features of the existing Benefits app with features of the existing Pay app. Employees have the same level of access to their benefits within the new app. Note: The Pay app has not been removed from the Workday menu.
Information coming in August 2024!
