PayrollThe IRS Annual Contribution Limit for Medical Spending Accounts has increased to $3,400 for CY202611/24/2025
PayrollThe IRS Annual Contribution Limit (TDA+ORP) has increased from $70,000 to $72,000 for CY2026 per System Benefits Administration11/24/2025
PayrollThe FY2026 wage limit for Optional Retirement Program (ORP) and Teacher Retirement System (TRS) is now $350,00011/24/2025
BenefitsEmployees will receive a warning when updating the legal name of a beneficiary. The warning will clarify to create a new record if a new beneficiary is needed12/4/2025
Cross-Application Services"Assigned Security Roles" is a new tab in the Jobs section of the Worker Profile that shows the worker's assigned roles. Results are viewable for self-service, management chain, and Security Partners12/4/2025
StaffingThe Export Control Job Duties Questionnaire in Create Position and Edit Position Restrictions now includes an option to route to the Manager for positions with Staff, Faculty, and Temp/Casual worker types only, based on member selection12/4/2025
BenefitsA new report, "Grad Student Employee Waiver - Eligibility Research," is available for Benefits Partners to research eligibility for Grad Plan waivers for international students at the beginning of each semester12/11/2025
BenefitsExtended plan details for the Medicare Advantage 65+ Plan have been updated to reflect plan changes effective 1/1/202612/11/2025
BenefitsThe Benefits View Only role can now see business process details for the following business processes:

Cross-Application ServicesThe report, "Worker I9 Details," has been updated to include filter options for missing social security numbers and the 90-day deadline by which they must be received12/11/2025
Cross-Application ServicesThe Guardian H-1B Portability Days setting is now 240 Days, and the Track Visa Type and Work Eligibility functionality are enabled12/11/2025
PayrollWorkday is now compliant with SECURE Act 2.0 and automatically switches retirement plan deductions for eligible participants to Roth once the regular limit is reached12/11/2025
BenefitsThe report, "Late Evidence of Insurability (EOI) Approvals," is now on the Benefits Partner Dashboard under Reports to be Run Monthly12/18/2025

RecruitingAll references to Sterling in Recruiting business processes have been updated to First Advantage to reflect the company’s name change12/18/2025
StaffingA new report, "Last Payment Date of Active Workers," is available to HR and Payroll roles to view the last payment details of active workers12/18/2025

Absence ManagementThe Medical/Mental Health Care for Certain Veterans and Mental Health for Peace Officers Time Off Plans can now carryover up to 120 hours to the next Fiscal Year1/15/2026
BenefitsTRS Annuity Letters from retirees can now be tracked using a new custom object, "TRS Annuity Letter Status," by Benefits Partners1/15/2026

StaffingThe Annual Financial Disclosure and Financial Interest Disclosure and Certification forms will now be completed in Workday1/15/2026
StaffingThe Change Work Space process can now be initiated by Managers for their employees1/15/2026
Absence ManagementThe State Comp Time Off Plan now has the Expiring Accruals feature enabled, allowing earned State Comp Time Off to expire exactly 12 months after accrual1/29/2026

BenefitsA new report, "12 over 9 Eligibility List," is available to Benefits Partners to determine who should be in the 12 over 9 program for the upcoming year. This report should be run and reviewed in June, then submitted to Workday Operations as in years past4/9/2026
Absence ManagementAn error will now appear when an employee requests more than 5 hours of Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Volunteer time off in a month4/16/2026
BenefitsThe report, " Retiree Home Contact Information," now correctly provides the Retiree Communication Election field and is now available to Benefits View Only roles4/16/2026
PayrollThe Pre-Payroll Dashboard is now available to Payroll View Only roles4/16/2026
StaffingThe HR Partner HUB now includes common reports and helpful links for Staffing, Position & Job Profile, Employee Information, and Compensation & Payroll4/16/2026
StaffingThe Workers Missing SSN Alert will now send at 90 and 120 days after the Hire Date to both employees and supporting roles and will include the Citizenship Status for each Employee4/16/2026

The earning code, “Camp Revenue Sharing Payments” is now “Revenue Sharing Payment” to show its expanded use to support one-time payments based on net revenue across a broader range of scenarios
