This update of items recently shared at the June 11 APPC meeting summarizes key FAMIS support activities, system updates and upcoming changes affecting processing and user support.
Emburse
- There may be some missing Due To / Due From balances from the early days of the move to US Bank. Emburse was not sending the CorpID, and FAMIS had no way to determine Due To / Due From balances.
- These will need to be handled manually as they are discovered by coordinating with the other member and SOBA to request the equity transfer.
High Radius-Autonomous Receivables
- We are now testing integrations in the TEST environment for TEES, AgriLife Research, AgriLife Extension, Tarleton and TTI.
Radiant RFID (Asset Management and Tracking Software)
- We are working to get the TBAU059 available in PROD.
TeamDynamix
- FAMIS Production will be moving to TeamDynamix (TDX).
- User emails will get responses from TDX as they do for FAMIS Support.
- Users will still send emails to famisprod@tamus.edu, but these emails will now create tickets.
FAMIS
- Batch Open / Close issue: We pushed a change to PROD last week that should have helped.
- Fiscal year-end training is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4, 1:30 PM–3:30 PM. A Teams meeting invitation will be shared later this summer.
- Due to the way payroll posting dates are aligning for October, we may need to push back the PCT lockout period by a few days. PCTs will still be able to be created and approved, but won’t post until November.
