FAMIS Governance is a group of users that review requested changes to FAMIS and approve or reject the requests. These users help FAMIS Support with prioritizing program developer time.
Programming changes are requested through the change enhancement request form. Every A&M System member has between one and three users who are authorized to approve programming changes. If you have an idea for a change or enhancement for FAMIS, please reach out to the representative for your institution.
Changes that are regulatory or state-mandated in nature do not have to go through governance but do require a change enhancement request.
