The FAMIS Services Department is part of the Office of Information Technology within the Texas A&M University System.
FAMIS Services maintains and develops the Financial Accounting Management Information System (FAMIS). Our team also supports all A&M System members who have chosen to implement FAMIS to meet their accounting needs. Twenty-two Texas A&M System members and the Texas A&M Research Foundation utilize the functionality of FAMIS. This translates to more than 4,300 users!
FAMIS Services concentrates on answering questions and solving problems presented by individuals in the business offices. Many of the functions and components of our financial systems are supported by specialists across the Texas A&M System.
Governance
The FAMIS Services Working Group reviews and prioritizes major change requests submitted by members of the A&M System. The Financial Systems Council reviews items requiring significant development.
