FAMISweb Release 1.9

Release 1.9 (available Friday, July 3, 2026) expands financial visibility with new Bank overview and Bank transaction capabilities and introduces powerful new Payables features. This release continues to refine the user experience through improved search, navigation and usability enhancements, with a focus on improving visibility into financial data. Streamlining navigation also makes it easier for users to locate information, understand relationships between records, and move efficiently through their daily workflows.

Be sure to read Squashed and Shipped (a.k.a. Fixes That Matter) at the end of this update. The teams have addressed numerous major and minor bugs, improving the user experience.

New Features

Account Oversight

  • Bank overview: A new Bank overview page provides a consolidated view of key bank account information. This page presents important account details in a clear, easy‑to‑scan format and serves as a central point for reviewing bank account activity.
  • Bank transactions: The new Bank transactions page allows users to view and review transaction history for bank accounts. Users can navigate directly from account information into transaction details, making it easier to understand activity without searching again or switching contexts.

Payables

  • My Vendors: The My Vendors page introduces a new way to view vendors associated with your My Accounts lists. This page makes it easier to review vendor activity, filter results, and understand vendor relationships tied to your accounts in one place.
  • Voucher search: A new Voucher search page lets users search for vouchers by multiple criteria, including voucher, PO, vendor, and account information. Results are presented in a clear grid view, with the ability to review line items for each voucher, improving visibility into payables activity.

Enhancements

Asset Management

  • Asset management (fixed asset) improvements: Updates to Asset management pages improve how overflow and detailed information is displayed, providing a clearer view of asset data and supporting easier review of asset records.

Account Oversight

  • Interconnected navigation: Bank-related pages now include improved linking between account views and transaction details, allowing users to move seamlessly between high‑level summaries and detailed activity without reentering search criteria. Existing pages, such as Account search, that reference bank information have been updated to direct users to the newly released Bank overview page, making navigation across FAMISweb seamless.

Search, Navigation and General Improvements and Refinements

  • Multicampus search enhancements: Search behavior has been improved to better support multicampus parameters, giving users more control over how results are filtered and displayed. Additional improvements will be coming in future releases.
  • Improved filtering and results: Updates to filters, including date and cycle handling, deliver more reliable, intuitive search results.
  • Improved movement between records: Additional linking and navigation enhancements make it easier to move between related records, such as accounts, vendors and transactions.
  • Selector updates – dropdowns: Improvements continue to the dropdown selectors to refine user interactions with selection fields. Dropdowns that are not required now allow the user to clear their selection.
  • Improved handling of empty states and “no results” scenarios
  • Updates to grid layouts, headers, and modal displays for better clarity
  • Options to download on-screen data and all available data
  • Other enhancements:
    • More consistent field labels and terminology across pages
    • Improved validation messages to better explain missing data or access limitations
    • Cleaner layouts and spacing for improved readability
    • Enhanced dropdown and combo-box behavior, including clearer placeholders and selection handling

Squashed and Shipped (a.k.a. Fixes That Matter)

  • “Download all” option: This option was added to many pages, including Transactions by batch, SL-SA encumbrances and SL-SA transactions, to name a few. This option will download all rows and columns returned by the filters.
  • Payroll expenditures and Payroll by UIN: Download options have been aligned across both pages and include the fields used in Canopy downloads. The “Download all” option has also been added to these pages.
  • SL-SA encumbrances: View has been corrected to display all encumbrances (up to 1000) online. As noted above, the “Download all” option has also been added to this page.
  • My Accounts:
    • Users can now add two accounts with the same account number from different members. (Cheer!!)
    • Sort, filter and delete functionality has been restored.
  • Global queue: The display has been corrected to show an individual’s name rather than the word “individual” in FYA routing.
  • Departmental Correction Request (DCR): DCR documents will now allow splitting lines into multiple lines.
