Employee Payroll Action (EPA)

Employee Payroll Action (EPA) documents were historically used to process Payroll changes created in FAMIS, which then updated the Budget Payroll Personnel system (BPP). When an EPA document was closed, the necessary adjustments to payroll encumbrances in FAMIS were triggered, and the changes were fed to BPP.

With the move to Workday in 2018, the EPA process became obsolete and is no longer an active document in FAMIS.
