For Windows users, OpenText HostExplorer is the supported 3270 emulator used to access FAMIS.
Note that this software is only available to authorized FAMIS users. You will be required to log in to Single Sign On (SSO) to download the software.
Download OpenText HostExplorer 15.05 Software (version 15.05). This version meets the A&M System TLS 1.2 connectivity requirements.
The latest update of HostExplorer is service pack 8 – 15.0.8. The link to that service pack is provided – however, some users have reported issues with font sizes when they resize the host explorer window.
Download OpenText HostExplorer service Pack 8 . Note – this service pack must be installed after the initial install of version 15.05.
