Managers

Managers (or supervisors) are designated to approve on behalf of employees who are not marked as “Self Certify”.

By default, the Time and Effort System uses the “Standard” manager structure that is defined in SSO.  This standard structure is shared with LeaveTraq, and can also be shared with TimeTraq.

Additionally, a distinct manager structure can be set up specifically for Time & Effort, should the subtleties of a particular position’s reporting hierarchy require it.

Departmental administrators are responsible for working with employees and managers to define the proper manager structure.  It is recommended that the manager structure be established as new employees are hired.

For more information, see the for Managers section.
