Certification documents have various actions performed on them through the document life cycle. These actions are recorded in the document action log.
The table below lists and describes all document actions used in the system. Document actions are not the same as document status – they are related, but not the same. Document actions effect a status change of a document.
Action | Description |
---|---|
Admin Verification | The document was reviewed and verified by the departmental administrator. |
Cancel | The document was cancelled by the administrator. |
Certified | The employee (or supervisor) approved the document. |
Document Created | The document was created. This action is performed automatically by the system. |
Place on Hold | The document was put in “hold” status by the administrator. |
Marked for Recertification | This action occurs when a document that has already been certified is adjusted due to a new payroll correction posted through the monthly data load from the BPP system. |
Rejected | The employee or manager rejected the document. |
Re-Opened | This action occurs when an administrator re-opens the document after it has been cancelled. |
