The purpose of this course is to familiarize Recruiting Partners with essential concepts and business processes relevant to their responsibilities within Workday. By completing this course, you will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage recruiting-related tasks.
In this course, you will learn to…
- Recall fundamental terms related to the Recruiting functional area in Workday.
- Understand how to create job requisitions.
- Recognize the dynamic stages of the job application process, including those common across all members.
- Differentiate between internal and external candidates.
- Identify tasks specific to Recruiting Partners during the job application process.
- Understand the distinct roles of Recruiting Partners and Recruiting Coordinators, and how they support employees.
- Know where to find helpful recruiting resources.
This is not a required course but highly recommended for new Recruiting Partners who will use Workday to manage recruiting related tasks. It is advisable that you take Workday Core Concepts for Security Roles and Workday Advanced Navigation before completing this course.
The course should take between 45mins to 1hr to complete. This course is developed by IT Training and Development, a department within the A&M System Office of Information Technology.
