Working in Workday for Employees
This course is designed to introduce the Workday application to Employees within the Texas A&M University System. Topics covered include:

- Workday Support
This is not a required course but highly recommended for new Employees who will use Workday to manage their human resources, payroll and benefits needs. Additional help can be found in our list of Employee Common Tasks job aids.
Working in Workday for Managers
This course is designed to introduce the Workday application to Managers within the Texas A&M University System. Topics covered include:
- Manager Roles
- Managing Time Entries
- Managing Time Off Requests
- Managing Delegations
- Manager Specific Worklets

- Recruiting
- Workday Help
This is not a required course but highly recommended for new Managers who will use Workday to manage those they supervise. It is advisable that you take Working in Workday for Employees prior to completing this course. Additional help can be found in our list of Manager Common Tasks job aids.
Guardian I-9 Administrator Training
Effective 09/01/2019 each member will be allowed to have two individuals set up with Administrator permissions in the Guardian I-9 system and the individuals must complete training on administrator functions in order to be granted and retain the Administrator permissions in Guardian I-9.
This Guardian I-9 Administrator training provides information on the use, assignment and duties of individuals given administrator privileges in the Guardian I-9 System. Users should already be knowledgeable about Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance.
Workday Hiring Series – Part 1: Preparing for the Hire
This course overviews the process of preparing for hiring an employee in Workday. Topics include Preparing for the Hire, New Hires vs Rehires, Pre-hire Records, Pre-hire Scenarios, What is a UIN? and UIN Scenarios. This content is provided by IT Training & Development, a department of The Texas A&M University System Office. Please reach out to your local Human Resources office for any member specific processes not covered in this course. This course is part 1 of a four-part series. It is recommended to complete each course in order. Parts 2, 3, and 4 are scheduled for summer 2023.
