Absence
- The report Time Off Balance for Terminated Employees includes prompts for Before/After Termination Date
Recruiting
- Managers will no longer receive inbox items and email notifications for the Screen step in the Recruiting business process based on member selection
- The To Do: Manage Interview Settings in Job Requisition and Job Requisition Change business processes triggers based on member selection
- Candidates selecting Other as the Recruiting Source will be prompted for additional information based on member selection
Talent
- Succession Plan, Succession Pool, Talent Pool, and Talent Review functionality has been enabled
Benefits
- Enrollment Event Remarks are enabled for Benefits Partners and System Benefits Support
- Medicare eligible Retirees are no longer able to enroll in the A&M Care Plan
Compensation
- Budget Partner and Payroll View Only roles are able view Request One-Time Payment details
- The Compensation Spreadsheet report has a new field: Below FLSA Threshold
Payroll
- The IRS Annual Contribution Limit for Medical Spending Accounts has increased to $3,200 for 2024
ITSS Operations
- State Verifications for W2’s — Due by 1/4/2024 and is Optional; this is for your convenience. Any changes that are needed after the W2 Data is created in Workday will have to be manually edited on the W2’s.
- SSN Quarterly Verification — Quarterly verification for SSN’s are available in File Depot for the November 30th file. We will complete the process again after the new year in preparation for tax processing
- SECC Deductions for 2024 have been loaded into Workday Production
- W-2 Year End Processing
- Sandbox testing will begin 1st week in January

- 1/09 – Cutoff Date for 2023 W-2 Adjustments/Corrections (Settlement is 1/10 @ 9AM)
- 1/10 – Date All Adjustments/Corrections will require a W2C

Staffing
- Absence Partners will receive the To Do: Move Time Off Balance when a Faculty changes to/from a 12 month Annual Work Period
- Absence Partners receive either one or two To Dos for Time Off Payout and Sick Pool Donation tasks in the Termination business process based on member selection
- Pre-Employees have access to Workday 60 days prior to Hire Date
- The Exit Survey has been updated to be in compliance with Senate Bill 17
- HR Partners will receive an alert 30 days before an Employee’s Flexible Work Arrangement expires based on member selection
- When a Non-Immigrant is rehired, HR Partner or HR Contact will now receive the Update Glacier step for Personal Information changes that are part of the Onboarding business process
- Payroll Partner will receive the Assign Pay Group step in the Edit Position business process when Pay Rate Type is changed
- Nationality and Citizenship Status will not be required for Personal Information Changes for NEBOs
- The Eligible for Rehire value will default to No for Involuntary Terminations with the reason of Death
- The View Open Positions report has been updated to rename the column “Pre-Hires Considered for Position Count” to “Position Incumbent Count”
