General Announcements
- Contracts have been renewed for virtual platforms Accelevents and Stova (formerly known as Aventri). You can view details on the System Office OIT contracts page.
- Reminder: W-2, W2-C, 1042-S and 1095-C documents for tax years 2017 and earlier will be removed from HRConnect, the A&M System’s legacy human resources portal at the end of business on June 30. This is to remain in compliance with the State of Texas and A&M System document retention rules.
- The Summer premiums process is in full swing. This is the process by which people who work less than 11.5 months are designated to pay their summer benefit premiums. Benefit partners are working closely with Workday Services to provide the necessary information. A calendar is located on Workday Help with this year’s deadlines.

Workday Services
Release items discussed do not reflect the entire list of updates to the Workday application in the past 30 days. Absence
- Time Off update
- Sick, Vacation, and State Comp plans have been updated so that balances can be reduced even if the Employee is no longer eligible for the plan
Payroll
- Costing Allocations
- The business process now supports multiple Cost Center Approvers assigned on the account. Cost center approvers will receive a task for each account needing approval within the set
- Deduction Codes
- The Employer Paid Optional AD&D Benefit Plans listed below have been added to the deduction code AD&D -The Hartford – ER Contribution – Biweekly. Deductions will be taken for Employees enrolled in one of these benefit plans beginning on the April 5th pay date.
- Optional AD&D – The Hartford <=$25,000 – Employer Paid (Employee)
- Optional AD&D – The Hartford <=$25,000 – Employer Paid (Family)
- Optional AD&D – The Hartford Employer Paid (Employee)
- Optional AD&D – The Hartford Employer Paid (Family)

Staffing
- Military Status
- This status is no longer displayed on the Personal Information Tab of Workers that were converted from legacy systems to Workday
- Hourly to Salary
- Employees moving from an hourly to a salaried position will receive a notification to submit a final timesheet
- Contingent Workers
- Work Relationship Ended has been added as a Reason for Involuntary End Contingent Worker Contract
- Termination
- Retirement in Lieu of Involuntary Separation has been added as a Reason for Voluntary Termination
