- Our biannual Workday Release goes into production on March 14th. WD2026R1 is the first release for this year. Details will be communicated as we get closer to this date. Biannual release information is available on Workday help beginning two weeks prior to the release date.

- W2s have published and are available in Workday. Printed copies have been mailed to Employees who have selected this option.
Workday Services
Release items discussed do not reflect the entire list of updates to the Workday application in the past 30 days. Benefits
- TRS Annuity Letters from retirees can now be tracked using a new custom object, “TRS Annuity Letter Status,” by Benefits Partners
Time & Absence
- Effective 2/1/2026, Unpaid Time Off must be requested exclusively through the Request Absence business process and can no longer be entered or approved via timesheets
- The Medical/Mental Health Care for Certain Veterans and Mental Health for Peace Officers Time Off Plans can now carryover up to 120 hours to the next Fiscal Year
- The Request Leave of Absence business process now includes a Faculty Partner approval step, based on member selection
- The State Comp Time Off Plan now has the Expiring Accruals feature enabled, allowing earned State Comp Time Off to expire exactly 12 months after accrual
Recruiting
- A new Background Check Status, “Missing Information,” has been added to allow First Advantage to indicate when required data or documents are incomplete or missing
- Updated Reports:
- A new report, “Candidate Dispositions by Job Profile,” is available to Recruiting roles and provides counts of candidate disposition reasons by job profile
- The report, “Time to Fill by Position,” now has prompts to filter results within hire date range, exclude evergreen requisitions, and include calculated metrics
Compensation & Merit
- Updated Reports:
- The report, “My Compensation History,” now displays the Job Profile and Business Title associated with a compensation event
Payroll
- IRS Annual Contribution limits have been updated for 2026 including higher limits for ages 50 plus and 60 to 63 to comply with the Secure Act 2.0
Staffing
- The Change Work Space process can now be initiated by Managers for their employees
- The Annual Financial Disclosure and Financial Interest Disclosure and Certification forms will now be completed in Workday
- Approval steps for Staffing and Compensation business processes will identify the security role receiving the task within the title to improve clarity for the end user
- Change Job Templates for Data Change reasons now include clearer help text, updated fields and routing, and more accurate naming conventions
- Updated Reports:
- The report, “Business Process Events – Worker Staffing Details,” will now run as a background process and be available in My Reports
