Workday releases new features and functionality enhancements twice a year in March and September.
Introduction
The following changes will go into production on September 19, 2026.

Absence
Employees can now view the reason an absence request was sent back and edit before resubmitting, directly from their inbox. This update makes corrections faster and easier.
Payroll
Bank account numbers entered during direct deposit setup will be masked by default to better protect sensitive financial information. A new visibility toggle allows employees to reveal the account number when needed.
Time
Enhancements to screen reader support will provide additional context for data displayed in tasks and reports, improving accessibility and navigation.
