Workday releases new features and functionality enhancements twice a year in March and September.
Introduction
The following changes will go into production on September 20, 2025.
Safe Harbor: Workday Inc. reserves the right to make changes on feature updates at any point before the release date including delaying changes for the future. We will inform you of any changes that conflict with the information listed below.
User Experience
A Worker Profile update includes a more modern visual style and cleaner and intuitive layout of information.
Quick Tasks will be removed from the Workday Home page.
Payroll
Employees now authenticate bank account details when updating payment elections to protect against unauthorized changes. Entering incorrect information too many times will result in the inability to change payment elections until an administrative lock is removed.
Dependent Tax credit information based on the W-4 form will display on an Employee’s payslip.
Security
The Assign Roles Add/Remove task located on a Worker’s Action menu now contains additional filter prompts for a more refined search process. These new filters are optional and do not impact the way this task is currently used.
