Annual Merit Process
Workday Merit is an annual process designed to enter and approve four different types of awards – Merit, Equity, Promotion increases and Merit Lump Sum for multiple employees at the same time.
Each year a Merit Preview webinar is provided to review the process and any changes for the current year. This year’s Merit Preview webinar occurred on April 25, 2025
Merit Update Meetings
During the merit process, Merit Update meetings will be held but not recorded. You will be able to locate the decks for those meetings in this section for the year they occur.
Forms
There are two forms that need to be completed yearly.
Merit Partners will be assigned the Merit Partner security role in Workday by Workday Services. In order to assign this role, a statement of responsibility must be on file. Select the link provided to complete the form. Submit this form to support@tamus.edu.
Workday Merit Configuration Worksheet
Each member of the A&M System must provide relevant information about how it will complete the merit process. This information assists Workday Services in making the appropriate preparations in Workday. You will use the Workday Merit Configuration worksheet to provide that information.
