The critical infrastructure flag is set at the job profile level and on position restrictions. If position restrictions were created from a job profile, the flag carries over automatically.
In Workday, this flag is represented by the competency “Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure, which may include communications systems, computer networks and systems, cybersecurity systems, electrical grid, hazardous waste treatment systems or water treatment system.”
To add or remove the flag on a position, use the Edit Position Restrictions business process. Go to the Qualifications tab and find the Competencies section.
If you need to add the flag, select the Plus sign (+) icon and in the competency field of the row that appears, type critical infrastructure and press Enter to add it.
If you need to remove the flag, select the Minus sign (-) icon in the row that has the critical infrastructure competency.
