This course is designed to introduce functions and shortcuts to better navigate Workday to all persons with security roles, such as HR Contact, Benefit Partner, Payroll Partner and more, within the Texas A&M University System. The learning objectives for this course areā¦
- Navigate to relevant areas within Workday to complete daily tasks required of Workday Security Roles
- Apply filters to the My Tasks Inbox to search for specific items that need attention.
- Explain the different options available for taking action on an Inbox Item from the Gear menu.
- Recall how to navigate and use Worker History and Business Process History to find information and take action when needed.
- Identify the Related Actions menu and where it can be found within Workday.
- Identify key areas of the Worker Profile and Supervisory Organization needed to complete a task.
- Set up shortcuts and Favorites to simplify the Workday navigation.
This is not a required course but highly recommended for all persons with security roles who will use Workday. The course should take no longer than 1 hour to complete depending on the pace of the learner. This course is developed by IT Training and Development, a department within the A&M System Office of Information Technology.
