TAMUS UIN Management

The purpose of this course is to familiarize UIN Administrators and UIN Partners with essential concepts and business processes relevant to their responsibilities within UIN Manager and Workday. By completing this course, you will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively manage UIN related tasks in these applications.

At the end of this course, you will be able to do the following:

  • Recognize the role of UINs and how they are used.
  • Identify why acquiring or assigning the correct UIN to a person matters.
  • Demonstrate the use of the UIN Manager application in a business process.
  • Analyze common errors related to UIN Manager and identify how to resolve them.
  • Recognize the various systems that utilize UIN Manager.

This is not a required course but highly recommended for UIN Manager Administrators and Workday UIN Partners who will use UIN Manager or Workday to manage UIN related tasks. If you are a UIN Partner in Workday it is recommended that follow this training with Workday Hiring Series – Part 1: Preparing for the Hire after completing this course.

The course should take between 45mins to 1hr to complete. This course was developed by IT Training and Development, a department within the A&M System Office of Information Technology in cooperation with System Enterprise Applications.
