ITSS Operations
- SSN Quarterly Verification – Quarterly verification for SSNs is available in File Depot for the November 30th file.
- Another verification will occur at the beginning of the year as a last check for W-2s
- SECC Deductions for 2025 will be loaded before the Winter Break
- W-2 Year End Sandbox testing will begin the first week of January
Workday Services
Release items discussed do not reflect the entire list of updates to the Workday application in the past 30 days. What is listed below are key changes the Workday Services team would like to highlight during the meeting. For the full list of release items, navigate to the Release Notes available on Workday Help.
Benefits
- A new report “Flexible Spending Account Contribution Audit” replaces “Audit Differences in Dependent Care FSA Annual Election Amount” and “Audit Differences in Health Care FSA Annual Election Amount”. This new report allows you to audit both FSA deductions and includes a corrected Fiscal Year-to-Date calculation for biweekly workers.
Recruiting
- The Education Verification question within the Ready for Hire Checklist has been updated. Answer options now include Yes, No or Not Applicable. Selecting No will launch degree verification within Workday according to member selection.
- Managers will now be notified when a Candidate withdraws from a job requisition for any reason.
- Managers and Recruiting Coordinators will receive a notification when a job has been posted successfully, based on member selection.
Compensation
- College and University Professional Association (CUPA) Survey mappings have been updated for FY2025 (01/01/2025).
- Approvals are no longer required for the Request One-Time Payment business process when a Student Organization Payment is added.
- Users can no longer add an Actual End Date for salary or hourly plans on a Worker’s primary position according to member selection.
Payroll
- Tax Compliance Partners now have access to view Additional Information within Staffing and Compensation changes.
Staffing
- The To Do: Employee Onboarding is Complete now routes to HR Contact, HR Partner, or Opt out based on member selection.
- The Exit Survey will now trigger from the Submit Resignation business process for Faculty and Staff based on member selection.
- The Comment and Referral fields are now available for use on Pre-hire records.
- A new Change Job Reason, Transfer – Reorganization, has been added. This Reason is only available to HR Partners.
- Change Job now has a warning validation to remind initiators to end any active Flexible Work Arrangements when an Employee is transferring companies.
- Updated Reports:
- The report “Employees with Employment End Date” now has fields for Position ID and Business Title.
- A new report “Flexible Work Arrangement Events” returns FWA events in all statuses and is available to HR Contact, HR Partner, HR View Only, and Manager.
