User Experience
- Access to the Vaccine Management App has been removed from Workday for Employees and Vaccine Partners
Payroll
- Fiscal Year Wage Limit for TRS and ORP has been set to $330,000 for 2024
- When pay results are divided into multiple results within a pay period, TDA and DCP deductions will now apply to all results when a percentage has been selected
- The FLSA Overtime rate is no longer being inflated during the biweekly pay period that crosses over into the new fiscal year at the beginning of September
Absence
- Holiday Calendars for FY2024 are available in Workday
Benefits
- The Hire for Non-Employee Benefit Only business process can no longer be submitted if Time Type and Hours are in conflict
- New Report: Employees Missing SGIP Date Driver has been created to help Benefits Partners identify Employees who should be offered benefits
- Updated Report: Medical Plan Discrepancies now denotes Working Retirees who are incorrectly enrolled in the A&M Care 65+ plan
Staffing
- Employees with an international primary home address will no longer receive the Complete State and Local Withholding task during Onboarding
- Employees who enter an out-of-state address in Onboarding will receive a notification making them aware of potential tax implications
- New hires will receive a New Employee Training Acknowledgement during Onboarding based on member selection
- The I-9 Processor approval step will be skipped if the Passport and Visa Change business process is initiated from Onboarding
- HR Partners can now manage attachments in the Request Flexible Work Arrangement business process
- Flexible Work Arrangement Approvers will only receive one approval step
- Employees will receive a notification if their Flexible Work Arrangement request is denied
- Termination events can now be processed if the Employee has a Working Graduate Fellow and/or Working Surviving Dependent Other ID that has expired
- Updated Report: Job Catalog includes Job Description
Operations and Support
- The Save for Summer Monthly transactions for August will be loaded next week prior to Monthly payroll being initiated. An email will be sent once complete; please spot check a few and let us know if you see any problems
- Workday’s bi-annual feature release is scheduled for September 9
