How do I determine if an Employee is ACA eligible?

From the Employee’s name, select Actions > Benefits > View ACA Measurement Period.

Note: If a person is still in a full time position (75%+ for 4.5+ months) they will not be measured. Workday only measures people who fall below the Full Time Benefits threshold.

Look at the table at the bottom of the page (red box). The View ACA Measurement History page; the lookback history table at the bottom of the page is emphasized

Look under the column “Qualified as ACA FT” – If it has a “Yes” then they qualify (green box). Look at the row for “Stability” – they qualify for benefits through the “end date” of the stability period (yellow box). The lookback history table; the qualified as aca ft column on the right is emphasized

In this example, the Employee is eligible to keep FULL SGIP through 9/30/2021 as long as she remains employed.

Cause: The Affordable Care Act requires us to measure actual hours worked for employees over a measurement and offer them benefits during a corresponding stability period if they average over 75%.
