A program is a collection of courses that have been grouped together, either for assignment convenience or because they are related in some way. The Programs page allows you to search for and view all programs in the catalog(s) for which you have access.
NOTE: You cannot create a new assignment for an employee from the Programs page. To make an assignment, you must access the Employee Assignments or Employee Group Assignments pages.
To access the Programs page:
- You can either A) click on the Search tab then select Programs or B) hover over the Search tab and click on Programs.
The Programs page consists of two main sections:
- The “Filter results by:” section allows you to search for a program by name and/or TAMUS Member (Workstation).
- The Program List section lists available programs. Also, this section displays the program name, Owning Workstation, whether or not it’s shown on the employee’s transcript, Updated Date, and who it was last updated by.
Program Caveats
- Programs that have a course in Review status cannot be assigned.
- Only Training Administrators can create Programs.
- Programs are private to each Workstation.
