There are five different course types defined in TrainTraq. They are:
In Classroom |
This course type is used to designate courses that are presented in a live classroom setting. When an employee completes an In Classroom course, the instructor or other designated processor will upload a batch completion file to add a completion record to the employee’s transcript.
|
Online Legacy |
This course type is only used for System Offices online courses that were built into the original TrainTraq system. These courses are all online and record completions automatically.
|
Online External |
This course type is used to designate online courses that are not hosted within TrainTraq. For example, courses that launch directly to an external website where the content is housed. Depending on the actual setup, Online External courses may or may not automatically record completions in TrainTraq.
|
Online SCORM |
This course type is used to designate online courses that are SCORM-compliant (including SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 2nd and 3rd Editions). For additional information on SCORM, please read SCORM Compliant Courses.
