Adloc

An “Adloc” is a term that has been used for many years by the TAMUS Payroll System (BPP).

The term is a short name for “Administrative Location” – which is more or less the same as a department code.

Adlocs are formatted as follows:

XXYYYYYY

where XX is the System member code (02 = TAMU, 08 = TEES, etc.)

and YYYYYY is a 6 or 7 digit number.   This number is often the same number as the department’s primary FAMIS account number.  The payroll office can adopt a different numbering system.
