May-2014-Phishing-Attempt

Below is a copy of an email message sent to employees of the A&M System in May of 2014.  Notice the unusual From and To email addresses.

In this case the “Click Here” link would direct the user to the hacker’s web site at  http://www.bibedu.com/wp-includes/css/mailhub.htm.

As this message shows, it pays to be wary of emails purporting to represent security and support personnel.

Finally, please remember that no A&M System support request will ever require or even request private personal information via email.
