Authorized SSO Logon Sites

Important Notification: Employees of The Texas A&M University System continue to be targeted in “phishing” schemes by parties wishing to gain access to the A&M System’s secure applications and your employee information.

The SSO web site – https://sso.tamus.edu  – is only site authorized by the Texas A&M University System to request your UIN and SSO password.

To prevent giving unauthorized persons access to your personal information,  please verify the web address and the certificate of the site before entering your UIN and password in any web site.

And always be wary of any unfamiliar email that takes you to a site that requests your password.

View an example of a phishing email sent to real A&M System employees like you.

While caution is advised, email is nevertheless an important method of communication between IT applications and employees.

A partial list of SSO-related applications that you may receive messages from includes:

  • SSO itself
  • Workday – tamus@myworkday.com, for example
  • TrainTraq
  • Time & Effort
  • Guardian I-9
  • AggieBuy
  • Canopy
  • Maestro
  • and more…
