The A&M System’s Single Sign-On (SSO) will require two factor authentication (2FA) for all logins beginning August 1, 2021. This change helps make SSO more secure, safeguarding your information in Workday, HRConnect and other applications.

On the left side menu, select Two Factor Authentication.
If you do not see this option, please ensure that you have logged into SSO using your UIN and password, then refer back to Step 1.
Below Save, select authentication method. You can choose from one of three authentication methods:
Call Me (Recommended)
Authenticate via phone callback (such as your home or cell phone).
Enter a Passcode*
Login using a passcode, generated with Duo Mobile, sent via text message.
Click “Send codes” to get a new batch of passcodes texted to your phone
Duo Push*
Pushes a login request to your phone or tablet (if you have Duo Mobile installed and activated on your iOS, Android, or Windows Phone device). Just review the request and tap Approve to log in
* These two methods require you to install the Duo mobile app to your phone or tablet
Remember, once complete, you will need your Duo enrolled device handy when logging in to SSO.
Two Factor Authentication deadline for SSO: August 1, 2021
Why do I need to do this?
Two factor authentication provides a second layer of security to your accounts. Our network is maliciously attacked every day from phishing scams, shared passwords or malware. By enrolling in two factor authentication through Duo, you will have re-assurance that your accounts are secure.
Protecting our employees, data, systems and assets against cyber threats is a priority for the A&M System and the Office of Information Technology.
