Access and Roles

The application has three roles. Each role impacts what features the user can access as well as what data the user sees.  Users can be assigned one or more roles as needed.

  • Department Admin
    • Access to data based on the ADLOC’s selected in their SSO role configuration
    • Role is granted by a Prep Budget Central Administrator for that member
  • Central Admin
    • Access to data based on the Workstations selected in their SSO role configuration
    • Access Reports tab
    • Upload/Import Rate Adjustments
    • Can assign the Prep Budget Department Admin role to users
    • Role is requested using the Statement of Responsibility
  • System Admin
    • System Admins have access to all data in the application
    • Adjusts application settings and executes background processes
    • Role is limited to TAMUS administrators
