UIN Search

The UIN Search function can be used to search the A&M System’s UIN database.

UIN Search can also be used by a limited set of administrators to create and update UINs.

UIN Search access levels are:

  • Inquiry – the default
  • Add – can add new UINs but not update them
  • Update – can add new UINs and update existing ones
  • Super User – UIN system administrators only

NOTE: As of 4/2/2020, all users of UIN Manager have access to the UIN Search function, with inquiry access by default or a higher access level if previously approved for that access.

Because the UIN details screen has access to all UIN data elements, the UIN Search function is often used by administrators with update/super user access to perform corrections to UIN data.
