The ‘Profile’ tab is used by an employee to edit and personalize certain features of their Single Sign On menu.
The ‘General’ link allows the employee to edit the email address that the various SSO applications use to communicate with the employee. This tab also allows the employee to change their ‘Secret Question’ and their SSO password.
Clicking the ‘Manage Menu’ link allows the employee to choose which SSO applications will be displayed on the main menu after logging into SSO.
Two Factor Authentication
NOTE: To manage SSO two factor authentication, employees MUST log in using SSO using their UIN and password.
This function is not available when the employee is logged in to SSO using campus or agency logons such as TAMU’s NetID, Corpus Christi’s Island ID, etc.
When logged in to SSO using their SSO UIN credential, clicking the ‘Two Factor Authentication’ link allows the employee to view his/her two factor authentication status and opt in to the two factor service. If the employee is already using two factor authentication, they will be given the option to manage their two factor account and devices. Click here to learn about managing two factor devices in SSO.
