On April 30, 2026, the Blocked Country feature was removed from SSO. This change was made for two reasons: First, it was being used very infrequently in recent years and the cost of maintaining the functionality outweighed its usefulness. Second, it was determined in consultation with the A&M System’s Cybersecurity Operations team that the function was not providing sufficient improvement of the SSO security posture to warrant its continued support.
