Search for positions using the Position List.
The Position List is accessed by clicking the Budget navigation link at the top of the screen.
Find a position
The following filter criteria can be used when searching for positions:
- Position ID
- This is the Workday Position ID, which will include the Workday format “P-” where applicable.
- Worker (name or UIN)
- Job Profile (ID or description)
- Workstation
- Adloc (number or description)
- Status
- Filled – The position is currently filled
- Vacant – The position is currently vacant
- New Position?
- If the position was manually created in the application.
- Primary Position?
- If the position is a primary job.
- To view secondary jobs, use No for this filter in combination with a Status of Filled.
- Vacant positions by default are not considered a primary. Therefore selecting No without filtering on a Status of Filled will show secondary positions and vacant positions.
- Employee Type (Graduate Assistant, Faculty, Staff)
- TRS Job Category
- Include in budget?
- Whether this position will be included in the 901 budget report. See Editing Positions for more information on this field.
- Last modified date
Security
Positions displayed in the list are automatically filtered based on your SSO role. For information regarding roles and security, see Security Overview.
View Position
Open a position for editing by clicking the icon on the row of the position. For information on editing positions, see Editing Positions.
Add Position
Add a new position by clicking the Add Position button. For more information on adding new positions, see Editing Positions.
