TAMUS Notes
TAMUS has standardized its fund classification for TRS reporting for TRS Team. TAMUS financial leadership believes that all TAMUS members should report funds for all TRS funding classifications following the definition below:
- E&G Local – Accounts that start with a “1” – but not G/R
- Federal and Private – Accounts that start with 4, 5, or 6 – and also federal appropriated funds for Ag Extension.
- Non E&G – All other funds / accounts (usually designated and auxiliary)
Cause of error
With TRS Team, TAMUS change the funding classification to be consistent for all TAMUS members.
Work around
No work around is known at this time.
Update: TRS TEAM applied a hot fix the week of October 30th and TAMUS believes this issue has been resolved. The RP report must be resubmitted in order to clear the errors.
