This release updates the log-in screen and incorporates the newest release of Duo.
Enhancements
Logon screen
To help simply using the Alternate Login feature, the logon screen no longer displays the UIN and password fields by default. Instead, a grid of campus and agency logos are displayed as login choices. When a user clicks a logo, they will be directed to the login page for that system member. After successfully authenticating, the user will be directed to the application they originally requested or the SSO main menu.
With the initial logon, the logos are listed alphabetically. Each successive login will have the last used logo as the first choice in the grid. This is considered the user’s preferred login so it is moved to the first choice of the top row as a convenience.
Note: The UIN and password fields are still available by clicking the Texas A&M System seal logo.
Duo
The two-factor part of logging in will appear slightly different because of the new Duo Universal Prompt that makes using two-factor easier.
The Duo two-factor prompt will no longer display as part of the SSO application but will instead redirect to a separate Duo webpage. This new two-factor prompt will automatically default to either your most recent choice or the most secure authentication option available for your account.
If you want to choose a different second form of authentication, you can click the ‘Other options’ link on the Duo prompt.
