Digital Accessibility means providing digital information, applications, and services in a way that is not contingent on a single sense or ability. This means that everyone, including people with disabilities, can use them.
The Digital Accessibility Center works with Texas A&M University System members to create a culture promoting accessible electronic resources for all students, staff, faculty and visitors. Our goal is to facilitate collaboration between members so that we may provide universal accessible content to all.
This website contains information, resources, tools, and best practices to help you increase your understanding of Digital Accessibility. In doing so, we hope to raise awareness and inspire everyone to create more inclusive content.
Adopted Digital Accessibility Standard
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. The A&M System follows WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards per Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
