|Workday Area||Release Notes|
|Benefits||Retirees will have their own Open Enrollment events that will prevent them from making changes to their Medical plan during Open Enrollment.
This is to prevent issues with CMS and Part D enrollment. If a retiree DOES need to change their medical plan as of 9/1, there are instructions telling them to contact their Benefits office. The Benefits partner will cancel their Open Enrollment and instead give them an Alternate Open Enrollment benefit event that would allow them to change medical plans.
This will be explained in detail to the benefit & retiree partners at our SBA meeting before Open Enrollment
|Benefits||Alternate Return To Retire benefit event created to allow coverage to begin on event date if retiree does not want to wait the 90 days for SGIP before starting coverage|
|Benefits||Employees are no longer able to edit their disability status at any time. Only System Benefits Administration should be updating the Disability Status field. SBA will update that status once all the documentation is provided|
|Compensation||The In Progress Compensation Changes report was merged into the Compensation Changes report which has the ability to run for only In Progress workflow states. The In Progress Compensation Changes report will no longer be available to reduce the number of duplicate reports|
|Compensation||Rules have been created to remove Merit Plan from worker's additional job|
|Payroll||A Pay Accumulator has been created to display on the Pay Accumulator page for 1042S wages|
|Payroll||The Workday HCM Advisory Council approved changing the No Retro Processing Prior To Date from 24 months to 6 months on April 2, 2019. The adjusted recommendation stems from multiple discussions with the Payroll Working group in an effort to balance the benefits of the Workday Retro Process and the potential impacts to payroll when retroactivity occurs significantly in the past. It was determined that extreme cases of retroactivity should require a more hands-on approach; thus the recommendation to move to 6 months|
|Payroll||The Missing Costing Allocation report was modified to correctly return costing fixes needed when a future effective date is entered. Before, the report was giving more records than was necessary|
|Recruiting||The Ready for Hire business sub-process has been updated to help streamline actions for the Recruiting Partner.
This includes combining the "Ready for Hire Checklist" and "Hiring Process Compliance Checklist" questionnaires into one questionnaire called "Ready For Hire Compliance Checklist"
|Security||The UIN View Only security role has been created to allow visibility to worker information in Workday in order to verify identity of an employee or contingent worker to support member identity management and employee ID card business purposes. The role is assigned to Company and has limited view to personal and contact information for all workers within the Company. An SOR is not required. A Security Administrator will approve the assignment in Workday|
|Staffing||A notification will be sent to the HR Contact security role when a Legal Name Change is approved and initiated outside of the Onboarding business process|
|Staffing||Modified the condition rules on the To Do step "Add a Medical Only Change benefit event for retiree" in the Onboarding business process so the step will only trigger if the new hire is a retiree who is returning to work and is already enrolled in Medicare Part A and Medicare Part B|
|Workday Reporting||The Cost Allocations for Position Restrictions report is now available for those with the HR Contact or Payroll View Only roles|
