{"id":73,"date":"2014-08-08T21:59:24","date_gmt":"2014-08-08T21:59:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/it.tamus.edu\/timeandeffort\/?page_id=73"},"modified":"2023-02-21T14:55:06","modified_gmt":"2023-02-21T20:55:06","slug":"document-details","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/it.tamus.edu\/timeandeffort\/help-system\/roles\/employee-pi\/document-details\/","title":{"rendered":"Document Overview and Document Certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The certification document is a collection of information that:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>is associated with a particular employee for the reporting period.<\/li>\n<li>summarizes payroll paid during the period (institutional base pay only)<\/li>\n<li>has a changing status and log of all status changes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If the effort percentages are correct, the actual process of certifying a document requires only a few clicks. Simply press the &#8220;I certify&#8221; button at the bottom of the document.<\/p>\n<p>You may also view individual payroll records for the period for an account by clicking the details links on an account line.<\/p>\n<p>If you do not agree with the time percentages reflected on the certification document, you must add and comment and explain why you cannot certify the document. \u00a0See <a href=\"\/timeandeffort\/rejecting-a-document\">Rejecting a document<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>An example certification document is below.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-90 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/it.tamus.edu\/timeandeffort\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/11\/2014\/08\/empcertdoc.png\" alt=\"screenshot of the Employee Cert.
