Reporting Enhancements Project

Project Scope

The Reporting Enhancements project is engaging with a contracted vendor to provide an assessment of our current system-wide reporting environment and will provide recommendations for improvement. This project runs concurrent with Phase 2 of the Financial Systems Modernization project.

This project includes:

Evaluation of the current state of system-wide reporting

There are nine areas we have asked the vendor to evaluate:

  • Data Transformation Approach
  • Security Model and Approach
  • Departmental Reporting and Shadow Financial Systems
  • Reporting Interaction
  • Reporting Team Staffing and Organization
  • New Technical Solutions and Opportunities
  • Data Governance and Data Definitions

The leadership team and the EDW Reporting Working Group will use the vendor’s assessment to create a timeline and roadmap to implement TAMUS reporting enhancements.
