Partners

In the Fall of 2018, the A&M System issued an RFP to engage a partner to implement Phase 1 of the Financial Systems Modernization plan.  Phase 1 was a Proof of Concept to re-platform FAMIS in order to verify that the technology behind FAMIS could be successfully changed to more modern technology; specifically C # and SQL.  The intent was that should the Proof of Concept prove successful the A&M System would immediately begin the process of a full conversion of the code with the selected vendor.  The award was made to the Asysco/Anubex team and work began on Phase 1 in the Spring of 2019.

Asysco

Asysco is a privately held software company headquartered in Coevorden, Netherlands, with over 40 years of legacy modernization experience. Asysco prides itself on providing fast and flexible legacy transformation while respecting customers’ past investments. It has been working with businesses across different industries since 1979, adapting solutions and approaches to both match customers’ evolving needs and unlock value from their legacy systems.

Asysco’s expertise is unparalleled: the company has converted millions of lines of code and provided exceptional service to bring organizations closer to innovation quickly. The team has successfully completed many migrations of mission-critical workloads. They always commit to a project budget and lead time and comply fully with local regulations. Migration projects involve many moving parts, so they work with experienced partners to make sure they can offer the most comprehensive set of skills.

Anubex

Anubex is a privately held software company headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium. Anubex is an industry leader providing core software solutions, know-how, and support for complex mainframe-to-cloud migration and modernization projects. With more than 25 years of experience, demonstrated solutions, high-performing software tools, and more than 100 successful legacy migrations, Anubex helps enterprises and government organizations boost their innovation capacity, competitiveness, and agility by accelerating their digital transformation.

The company has broad technological coverage in the IBM z/OS market space, providing migration solutions for legacy environments such as IDMS, Adabas-Natural, and COBOL-CICS and also for UNIX/Linux/Windows with COBOL. The automated conversion and testing tools combined with an innovative migration methodology make Anubex one of the most competitive and reliable migration companies in the market.

Asysco and Anubex Partnership

For the last eight years, Asysco and Anubex have been in partnership across several projects. The relationship started when Asysco began searching for an automated testing tool.  Anubex leads the market with its testing tools and provided global uniqueness in capturing mainframe transactions that can replay on the distributed platform. Asysco has used this product in multiple customer projects and internally for regression testing in Asysco’s R&D team.  Although both companies’ business models are very similar, Asysco started in the migration space with Unisys mainframes, and Anubex began in the IBM mainframe arena. The partnership brings together two companies uniquely positioned with leading technologies and specialized solutions and can migrate all flavors of mainframes and provide multiple choices for landing platforms. These advantages make Asysco and Anubex global leaders in the migration market.
