Will users be able to set up a profile to access old BPP data?
When BPP goes back online on Monday, November 21, the current method of accessing BPP will remain. It is expected that all access to BPP will be removed in the Spring of 2023. A project is underway to ensure that needed data will be available in the data warehouse.

Will user interface modernization be a part of Phase III?
Yes. The project teams are considering a wide range of enhancements, third-party software solutions and improvements to business processes. You can view a list of ideas we’re researching and submit your own ideas for Phase III.

Will the mobile app work with the replatformed FAMIS?
FAMIS doesn’t truly have a mobile app. Although the replatformed FAMIS will continue to be available on mobile devices using the same tools used with the previous version of FAMIS, login with SSO will be required for both Canopy and FAMIS.

What training will be available on the features that have changed?
Two TrainTraq courses have been developed covering the new logon process and sort order and session timeout changes. The courses will be available to all FAMIS users and support staff beginning October 11, 2022. When will I get trained on OneStream?
Official training dates have not yet been set, but training sessions for the Members are expected to occur after the FY 2022 AFR season.

What will change for me to create my AFR Reports?
This project is implementing a new financial reporting tool called OneStream which will be used to generate the AFR reports. FAMIS data will be loaded to OneStream by the System Office for each System Member. Each Member will then work with SOBA in OneStream to reconcile and consolidate the reports.

Why was the release date (go-live) of the replatformed FAMIS moved from June 2022 to November 2022?
In April 2022, existing project challenges such as continuing to improve system performance, preparing Control-M to convert from the mainframe environment to the Windows environment and reviewing security requirements and practices were encroaching on readiness and dress rehearsals, which could cause problems at go-live. Will the FAMIS replatforming project impact the way I send data files to FAMIS or receive data files from FAMIS?
The Financial System Modernization project team has selected the software for transfers from FAMIS and to FAMIS. The new software, GoAnywhere, provides a browser-based customer portal for users to both upload files to FAMIS and download files from FAMIS. Is Canopy going away?
No. Canopy is an extension of FAMIS and is not going away. In fact, part of Phase III Modernization will be enhancing Canopy.

Who is responsible for ensuring the replatforming project is successful?
The replatforming project is overseen by a Leadership Team and Executive Sponsors who are actively involved in the progress and direction of this project.

Will I have to learn a whole new system when the replatformed FAMIS goes live in November 2022?
No. At the time of the initial go-live, only a few things will have changed from the current way you use FAMIS. After go-live and as we enter into Phase III Modernization, things will begin to change incrementally.
