In order to manage access for iBenefits Department Processors, you must have Update access on both your SSO Central Admin role and your iBenefits Workstation Processor role.
All of the security for iBenefits is managed through SSO Central Admin. To gain access to SSO’s Central Admin role and iBenefits as a Workstation Processor, you will need to complete and submit the SSO Statement of Responsibility as instructed.
NOTE: Each Workstation is responsible for providing documentation on their Department Processors in the event of a security audit.
Viewing a Department Processor’s Roles in iBenefits
Log on to SSO and click the “Cent Admin” button in the upper right:
On the “Employee Roles” tab, click the “Select Employee” button.
Type their last name, first name, and/or UIN and click “Search”.
Click the “Select” button next to the employee that needs the access adjustment.
Adding the Department Processor Role for iBenefits
Click the “Add Role” link.
1. Choose IBenefits application.
2. Choose HR Connect Dept. Processor role.
3. Enter the ADLOC for which they need access.
4. Choose the “Update” radio button.
5. Click the “Add” button.
This will result in a Role named “HRC-BEN-AD-PROC” being added to the employee’s Current role list.
Removing an iBenefits Department Processor Role
While viewing an employee’s role list, click the red “Del” button next to the Role named “HRC-BEN-AD-PROC”.
