The following changes were made in version 3.2.0 of iBenefits for the June 26th, 2014 release.
Medical Wellness Credits
iBenefits now interfaces with the B/P/P application to give participants/spouses enrolled in the A&M Care medical plan credit for completing wellness exams. Those with wellness credit save $30/month on their medical premium.
New employees and retirees automatically qualify for the wellness credit. Current employees must follow the plan rules to obtain the credit.
Participant and spouse wellness incentive information will be displayed on the iBenefits document screen.
Dependent Life Rates
Starting in FY 2015, dependent spouses enrolled in dependent life plan “A” will have their rate determined according to their own tobacco use status and age. Previously this rate was based on the plan participants’ status/age.
Retiree Spending Accounts
Starting in FY 2014, retirees will no longer be allowed to enroll in spending accounts.
Dependents listed on iBenefits documents who are not enrolled in any benefits will now be shown in a “Not Enrolled” status. Dependents’ wellness incentive information will also be shown, when applicable.
Dependents can now be saved with an apostrophe in the last name field.
New employees will no longer be offered an annual enrollment document while their new employee document is still active.
