direct deposit information.\u00a0 Before changing your direct deposit information, your identity will be further challenged by asking you to provide and verify your current <strong>payroll bank account number<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/it.tamus.edu\/hrconnect\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2017\/04\/Direct-Deposit-Verification-v2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-334\" src=\"https:\/\/it.tamus.edu\/hrconnect\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2017\/04\/Direct-Deposit-Verification-v2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"613\" height=\"369\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Once you have <\/strong>passed the elevated identity check, you will be given access to HRConnect\u2019s Direct Deposit screens.<\/p>\n<p>This change is the result of phishing attacks perpetrated against System employees and is intended to enhance the security of all employees&#8217; bank account and payroll information while having minimal impact to our user community.<\/p>\n<p>Please be aware of this change and have the required information available when you want to update your direct deposit settings.<\/p>\n<p>Note that it is recommended that you <a href=\"http:\/\/it.tamus.edu\/sso\/help-system\/key-concepts\/security\/two-factor-authentication-in-sso\/\">enable two-factor authentication on your SSO account<\/a> and on accounts you may have with other identity providers as an additional security measure.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On April 20th, 2017, a hot fix was made to HRConnect to better protect employees&#8217; employee\u2019s UIN into the Employee Name\/UIN box and click Search.<\/p>\n<p>Alternately, you can enter the employee\u2019s last name as a search criteria or, for common names, enter a name like \u201cSmith, Jo\u201d to search for John Smith, Jonathan Smith, etc.<\/p>\n<p>To select an employee, click the \u201cSelect\u201d link next to his\/her name to view the employee\u2019s home screen in HRConnect.<\/p>\n<p>After you select an employee, his\/her Home screen will be displayed:<\/p>\n<p><a
