FAMISweb Release 1.10

Release 1.10 (available Friday, July 31, 2026) expands FAMISweb asset management tools with new transaction views, batch search capabilities and enhanced asset component editing. This release also introduces edit and create capabilities for customer attributes, and enhances people search. New refinements to search, navigation and grid displays make it easier for users to review records, move between related information and complete common work with clearer guidance and fewer extra steps.

Be sure to read Squashed and Shipped (a.k.a. Fixes That Matter) at the end of this update for fixes to some pesky bugs included in this release.

New Pages

Asset Management

  • Asset batch search: Provides a dedicated way to search for asset batches and review batch-related information from one location.
  • Asset transactions by batch: Provides a clearer view of asset transaction activity by batch, making it easier to review related transactions together.
  • Asset component transactions: Provides a new transaction view for asset components. Users can review component transaction details in a grid and download transaction information for further review.

General Accounting

  • Dictionary values: View FAMIS dictionary fields, values and associated descriptions by campus.

Enhancements

Asset Management

  • Transfer Departmental Property (TDP) from asset records: Eligible users can now start a TDP document from Asset overview (all components) when the asset record supports that action, reducing the need to reenter asset information in a separate workflow.

SL-SA Attributes

  • Maintenance options: SL-SA maintenance has been updated to improve account attribute maintenance and selection behavior. These updates help users complete account-related work with more consistent controls and clearer field behavior.

Payroll

  • People search: People search has been refined to provide a more consistent search experience. Users will see improved selection behavior, clearer results and more consistent display of employee information. In addition to people type-aheads, users now have access to an advanced people search modal.

Customer Attributes

  • Customer edit: Users can update customer details, including contact information, billing details and type.
  • Customer create: Users can make new customers by either cloning existing customers or starting fresh.

General Improvements and Refinements

  • Download files have been updated in selected areas so exported information better matches the on-screen view. Several grids now provide clearer headers, more consistent column order and improved column widths for easier review.
  • Search pages have been updated to avoid displaying results for invalid searches and to better preserve selected values when users adjust search criteria.
  • Validation messages have been updated in multiple areas to better explain missing or incorrect information. Labels, tooltips and field text have been refined across pages for clearer guidance and more consistent terminology. Dropdowns, typeahead fields, numeric inputs and filter chips have been refined for clearer selection behavior and a more consistent experience.
  • Accessibility refinements have been made across selected pages.
  • Capitalization and punctuation improvements have been made across selected pages for consistency.
  • Document pages now have a sticky bar that allows users to save, cancel or create at any point in the document without scrolling.

Squashed and Shipped (a.k.a. Fixes That Matter)

  • My Accounts: Users can add accounts to lists more reliably, with improved account number handling.
  • Forms, modals and grids: Multiple pages include cleaner spacing, improved labels, clearer tooltips and more consistent display of buttons and headers.
  • Employee (people) search: Search dialogs have been improved and standardized across multiple pages, making it easier to search for and select responsible persons, users and substitutes from a consistent dialog.
  • Bank transactions: Transaction column display and exported files have been aligned more closely with the information users see on screen, and bank-related pages include additional navigation refinements.
  • Purchase order search: Selected export files include additional columns for improved review outside FAMISweb.
  • Customer search and notes: Customer-related displays include refinements to headers and note visibility.
  • Asset transaction pages: Asset transaction grids and downloads have been updated with clearer columns, including improved ISN display and export order.
  • Asset component edit mode: Users will see clearer validation, improved field handling and expanded editing support across asset component sections.
