CIO Update for the Week of Dec 14

New

  • IT Governance Updates

    • The EIRA Council meets at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday
    • The TTVN Governance Board meets at 1:30 p.m. on Friday

     

  • Vendor Updates

    • The mobile application development RFP team has completed their work and selected two vendors. Ex Libris (CampusM product) joins Modo Labs as opt-in choices for these services. While the Ex Libris contract has not yet been executed, members can begin discussions with them
      • An introductory PDF on CampusM has been sent and the account representative is Jeff Abbott, Account Manager, Mobile Solutions (Jeff’s email is available at the Contracts site)
      • Modo Lab’s information is available at the Contracts site
    • Hootsuite, Sprout Social and Campus Sonar are available to serve The Texas A&M University System and members in social media areas such as management, listening and reporting. A quick reference document about the vendors and their services has been emailed. Hootsuite and Sprout Social are hosting demos for new users in January
